Next to the Grand Palace is the Silpakorn University which has a sculpture garden very close to the entrance.  This is one of the sculpture in the garden.

This Thai-styled house is on Asoke Road as part of the Siam Society.  It's a museum and the ground floor is a coffee shop.

The train was passing under the Airport Link- very convenient if you live near the BTS.  Airport Link is also cheap.  High recommended if you don't have bulky luggages.

He waiting patiently for the parade to start.  He and his mother were waiting for a while before the parade started.  Hope the wait was worth his while.

Recognize this graffiti?  It's on the wall of the the old Siam Theatre that was burned down.  Very soon the area will be re-develop and this clown-face will be gone.

So they gather around and start to form a human bean pole with a small child on top.  Notice her hands on the young boy's face.  When the human pole is complete, they stand almost two storeys high.

I'm back.  After going away for a few days, I returned to technical difficulty so I was unable to post any photos.  Now that the technical issue has been fixed, I'm back.  Back with the local parade and a real school band.

The Old Custom House next to the General Post Office is now riverside fire department.  Once, this building was one of busiest government offices.
